Cucumber and tomato salad
Description
Perfect for everyday meals. What could be better than a spring salad made with fresh tomatoes and cucumbers? For a body starved over winter for delicious, fresh vegetables, a tomato and cucumber salad is like a panacea. As soon as truly good, flavorful tomatoes and cucumbers appear in stores, this salad instantly shows up on our table and remains there until mid-autumn. Why not? It's delicious! :) The tomato and cucumber salad I'm sharing below is even loved by children in our family, so we happily eat it almost daily. Simple, tasty, fresh, and healthy, it serves us as breakfast, afternoon snack, or a quick bite during the day. Anyway, I'm just repeating the obvious—this fresh tomato and cucumber salad needs no introduction. :) Let's prepare and enjoy! Garnish as desired and serve.

You can dress the salad with anything—sour cream, yogurt, olive oil, or mayonnaise. I prefer making a special salad dressing. To do this, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic pressed through a garlic press, salt, and pepper. Mix well—and the dressing is ready.
