
Chicken heart salad with marinated onions

The recipe won't take much time. The salad perfectly combines three flavors—hearts, carrots, and onions. The onion adds a wonderful piquant taste and significantly lightens the salad. Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan and add chicken hearts (previously rinsed under cold water). Cook the hearts for 20 minutes, season with salt to taste.

Slice the onion into half-rings or quarter-rings, depending on the size of the onion.

In a small bowl, mix water, vinegar, and sugar. Add the onion to the marinade and gently press it down. Let it sit for about 30 minutes.

Peel the carrots and grate them on a Korean-style carrot grater.

Sauté the carrots in vegetable oil until soft.

Meanwhile, the hearts are ready, drain them in a colander and cool.

Slice the chicken hearts into strips. If the hearts are small, simply cut each one lengthwise into 4 pieces.
