Chicken salad with pineapple and cucumber
Description
The recipe won't take much time. On Christmas Eve, according to Ukrainian traditions, the whole family gathers at the bountiful table. All dishes served at this meal must be meatless. When the first star appears in the sky, everything is ready for the festive Kutia. Serve it at the table.

Step 1
1. Traditionally, our ancestors placed twelve Lenten dishes on the Christmas table in memory of the twelve apostles. Such traditional dishes as fish, borscht, varenyky, mushrooms, uzvar, and kutia were always present on the festive table. None of our ancestors had ever even heard of pineapples. Let's add a little variety to the traditional dishes.

2. Wash the potatoes, boil them, peel, cut in half, and grate onto a saucer, trying to make an even layer. Spread mayonnaise over the potato layer.

3. Peel the hard-boiled egg and grate it over the mayonnaise layer. Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces and sprinkle over the egg layer. Spread mayonnaise on top.

4. Place pineapple slices on top, then add finely chopped cucumber and corn. Lightly drizzle with pineapple juice directly from the can.

5. Garnish the salad to your liking. It can be served at a festive table.
