Cucumber smash salad
Description
A simple dish to prepare. For the salad, just buy the necessary ingredients at the market and put them in one bag. Put the cucumbers in another bag—separately. Then just walk and smash the bag against everything within reach! Of course, I'm exaggerating, but you'll need to do something similar with the cucumbers at home, just not in front of bystanders. But it's not that bad. I really liked the taste of this salad. It's a bit unusual, but there's something appealing about it. Serve chilled.
Instructions

Step 1

Take washed cucumbers. As strange as it may seem, we will first pound them before slicing. You can use anything for this—either the dull side of a knife or a mallet. Then, cut the cucumbers into large, elongated pieces.
- 2
Step 2

Wash the herbs. Chop the bunch of cilantro, removing the extra stems, which are often wilted or dirty. Finely mince the garlic. You can also just grate it on a fine grater.
- 3
Step 3

For the dressing, we will need soy sauce, vegetable oil (sunflower oil is fine), as well as sesame oil, rice vinegar, and sugar. Mix all of these ingredients together.
- 4
Step 4

Place all ingredients into a salad bowl. Dress and mix well. Add cashew nuts. Finally, slice the red chili pepper. It can be omitted or replaced with bell pepper.

Step 5

Place a portion of the salad on a plate. It looks very original. And the taste, I must say, is unique—I rarely eat smashed cucumbers! You should definitely try it too!
