Carrot salad
Description
The recipe won't take much time. In this case, as a base, not only traditional romaine or iceberg lettuce is used, but also curly kale and a bit of napa cabbage. As for the dressing, it's simple: you can use store-bought dressing. However, you can always make it yourself, adjusting to your taste. Carrot is not only healthy, but also adds a bright note to the salad. Be sure to try it and serve it at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
First of all, deal with the chicken. Wash and dry the breast, then rub salt and spices all over (I use pepper and garlic powder).
- 2
Step 2
Heat the oil, add the chicken breast, and fry on both sides until cooked through. Of course, you can also use a grill or bake it in the oven, for example.
- 3
Step 3
While the chicken is frying, you can prepare the greens. Wash them, dry, chop if necessary, and place on a serving plate. Lightly season with salt and pepper.
- 4
Step 4
Grate the carrot (preferably using a Korean carrot grater) and add it to the salad.
- 5
Step 5
Place the chicken on top, previously cut into large pieces.
- 6
Step 6
Add Parmesan, croutons, and dressing to taste. That's it—carrot Caesar salad is ready to serve.
