Chicken salad with tomatoes
Description
This recipe won't take much time. Thanks to its mild flavor and aroma, chicken pairs perfectly with most vegetables, cheeses, and various sauces. That's why chicken breast pieces have become one of the most popular additions to Caesar salad—they're added boiled, baked, or, as in this recipe, pan-fried. It turns out delicious either way ;) Chicken with tomatoes is already a classic combination. So it's no surprise that this "duo" is most commonly used to enhance Caesar salad. The salad's classic ingredients—romaine lettuce leaves, Parmesan cheese, wheat croutons, and a flavorful dressing—only benefit from the addition of tender chicken and juicy tomatoes. Don't believe it? Then try making this Caesar salad with chicken and tomatoes! I'm looking forward to your feedback. Serve and enjoy!
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Remove the crust from the loaf—it can become too hard after baking. Tear the crumb by hand or cut into pieces, place on a baking sheet, sprinkle with salt, drizzle with oil, and bake in the oven until golden brown.
- 2
Step 2

While the croutons are baking, season the chicken meat with salt and pepper.
- 3
Step 3

And quickly sear on both sides in a small amount of oil on a well-heated skillet. Even better—on a grill.
- 4
Step 4

Squeeze the lemon juice.
- 5
Step 5

Lower the eggs into boiling water for 1 minute, then cool them with cold water.
- 6
Step 6

Prepare the sauce: mash the garlic with salt and pepper. Add mustard, lemon juice, and eggs, and whisk well. While continuing to whisk, gradually add the oil.
- 7
Step 7

Wash and dry the lettuce leaves and tomatoes. Tear the lettuce by hand. Slice the tomatoes—cherry tomatoes in half, others into wedges.
- 8
Step 8

Toss the salad leaves with the dressing and gently mix. Place the sliced fried chicken breast and croutons on top. Drizzle with the dressing. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan, garnish with tomatoes, and serve!
