
Homemade Chicken Salad

1. Rinse the chicken breast, pat dry with a paper towel, season with salt and pepper, and add your favorite spices. Sear the chicken fillet in vegetable oil on both sides over low heat (about 7–10 minutes per side).

2. Place the fillet in a bowl, cover with a lid, and let it sit for 10 minutes. For the croutons, trim the crusts off the bread, cut the crumb into small cubes, and place them on a baking sheet.

3. Add several whole garlic cloves, drizzle with vegetable oil, and place in a preheated oven. Dry the bread, stirring occasionally with a spatula. Cut the Chinese cabbage into thin strips and the chicken breast into cubes.

4. Grate the hard cheese on a coarse grater. Prepare the sauce: mix mayonnaise with soy sauce, sour cream, and juice of half a lemon. Add minced garlic clove and mix well. In a bowl, combine cabbage, cheese, and chicken breast.

5. Dress the salad with sauce and transfer to a serving dish. Garnish with tomato slices, croutons, and grated cheese.
