Salad with sausage
Description
Perfect for everyday dining. The "Caesar" salad from 1924, which is now considered classic, is quite a light dish—primarily consisting of lettuce leaves. A Russian person simply can't be satisfied with such a salad! That's why in our country, Caesar salad variations with various meat additions are so popular. However, in global culinary practice, such experiments aren't considered unusual, provided, of course, that the additional ingredients are of high quality and absolutely fresh, and the original Caesar preparation method remains intact. This means you should use only good-quality sausage, preferably homemade. Otherwise, the recipe for Caesar salad with sausage differs little from other variations of this popular dish. Let's try making it. Decorate as desired and serve.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Slice the smoked sausage into pieces of your preferred thickness and fry on both sides in a pan without oil or on a grill.
- 2
Step 2

Remove the crust from the baguette and cut into cubes about 1 centimeter in size. Place on a baking sheet, spray with oil, and bake until golden. You can also do this in a skillet; the main thing is to avoid making the croutons too greasy.
- 3
Step 3

Grate the Parmesan cheese on a grater.
- 4
Step 4

Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
- 5
Step 5

Boil the eggs, cool them, and remove the yolks. They can be either hard-boiled or slightly soft—the choice is yours.
- 6
Step 6

Grind garlic with salt and pepper. Add mustard and egg yolks, mix thoroughly. Add lemon juice and whisk. Gradually, while continuing to whisk, add the oil.
- 7
Step 7

Wash the salad leaves, dry them, and tear by hand. Add the sauce and mix.
- 8
Step 8

Place the sausage and croutons on the lettuce leaves, drizzle with the remaining sauce, and sprinkle with grated Parmesan. The "Caesar" salad with sausage is ready!
