Salad with fried chicken and shrimp
Description
The recipe won't take much time. In this case, the chicken is pan-fried, just like the croutons. But if you prefer, you can grill it instead. I've also included a quick homemade dressing recipe, though you can use any other dressing, including store-bought Caesar sauce. Serve and enjoy.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
This salad can be prepared quite quickly, but the processes will run in parallel. First, put the quail eggs to boil, bring water to a boil for the shrimp, and wash and dry the chicken breast.
- 2
Step 2
Boil the eggs hard, then cool them down. Season the chicken fillet with salt and pepper, place it on a pan with heated oil and fry. Put the shrimp into boiling water, after a couple of minutes remove from heat and leave them in the water for another 5 minutes.

Step 3
Meanwhile, toast the bread cubes in a pan until dry. You can add a little butter, garlic, salt, and spices to taste. Remove the croutons from the heat and let them cool.
- 4
Step 4
Chop the lettuce leaves, cut the tomatoes and eggs in half.
- 5
Step 5
To prepare the dressing, whisk the yolks, mustard, lemon juice, and garlic until smooth. Gradually add olive oil while whisking. Season with salt and pepper, then mix in a handful of grated Parmesan cheese.

Step 6
Remove the chicken breast from the heat and cut into portion pieces; let the shrimp cool slightly and peel.

Step 7
Gather all the ingredients in a salad bowl, drizzle with dressing, and serve the "Caesar" salad.
