1. To prepare the "Brooklyn" salad, start by boiling the chicken fillet. Once cooked, let it cool completely, then cut it into medium-sized cubes.

2. Wash and dry the broccoli. Carefully separate it into florets by hand, then cut into small pieces with a knife.

3. Drain the marinated mushrooms (in this case, using button mushrooms) in a colander to let the liquid drain off. Then slice them thinly. For this salad, you can also use fried mushrooms instead of marinated ones.

4. Dry the pickled cucumbers and cut them into small pieces. It's best to use cornichons.

5. Drain the corn cobs on a colander and dry. Slice thinly into wedges.

6. Combine all the chopped ingredients and mix thoroughly. In a separate container, prepare the dressing by mixing sour cream and mayonnaise, then season with salt and pepper to taste. If desired, add finely chopped garlic and fresh herbs. You can either dress the salad immediately or serve the dressing separately on the side (to prevent the salad from becoming watery or releasing excess juice).
