
Fish soup with red fish and processed cheese
Description
Hearty and flavorful soup. This soup can be made with any kind of red fish, and the more fish you use, the tastier the soup will be. Salt the soup only after adding the cheese, as different types of cheese have varying salt levels.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

Clean the fish (I used pink salmon) from scales and innards, cut into pieces, and place in a pot. Pour in water and bring to a boil over medium heat, skimming off the foam. Remove the fish and strain the broth, then return the broth to the pot.

Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes. Place the potatoes in the broth and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes.

Pour vegetable oil into a pan, add a piece of butter, melt it, then add finely chopped onion and grated carrot. Fry everything, stirring, for 7 minutes. Add the sautéed vegetables to the soup and mix well.

Add the processed cheese to the soup, stir, and cook for 5 minutes.

Remove the bones and skin from the boiled red fish, divide into pieces, and add to the soup.
