2. First, peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes. For the broth, you can use the onion whole (but if desired, you can chop it into cubes and sauté in a pan until translucent). Break the spaghetti into pieces.

3. Place the potatoes, onion, bay leaf, and other spices you will be using into a saucepan. Pour in boiling water and set on the stove. Once it comes to a boil, add a little salt and simmer over medium heat for about 10–13 minutes.
