1. To prepare a children's soup, fish is usually well-cooked. It is added not at the end of cooking, but at the beginning. So, peel the vegetables and wash the fish fillet.

2. First, boil the fish. To do this, place the fillet into boiling water and cook until done. For hake or pollock, about 20 minutes is enough. Salt the water to taste, but better not to over-salt it for children.

3. Finely chop all the vegetables so they cook faster.

4. Rinse the millet thoroughly and wash it. For children under one year old, millet can be replaced with rice or semolina. Millet is an allergen and therefore can be used in children's diet after one year of age.

5. Remove the fish from the broth and cook the vegetables and grain until fully done. It took me 20 minutes.

6. Finely chop the herbs and fish.

7. When the vegetables are fully cooked, return the fish and herbs to the soup and simmer for another 5 minutes. For fish soup, you can use dill or green onions. The soup is ready. For older and middle-aged children, serve it with a spoonful of sour cream added per portion.
