Recipe for chicken salad with prunes
Description
A simple dish to prepare. I often make this salad as a side dish or just as a snack. It disappears in seconds, both on regular days and during holidays. I like to serve this salad to guests using a cooking ring and garnish it with fresh herbs. This way, the salad looks attractive and appetizing. I recommend giving it a try. Serve chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Boil the chicken breast in salted water until cooked through, for 20–30 minutes. Then remove the container from the heat and let it cool.
- 2
Step 2

Once the meat has cooled, cut it into small cubes and place it in a wide container.
- 3
Step 3

Boil the eggs in boiling water for 10 minutes. Then, place them under cold water. Once the eggs have cooled, chop them and add to the container with the chicken.

Step 4

If your prunes are too dry, soak them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then dry them on a towel and slice into small pieces. Add the sliced prunes to the other ingredients.
- 5
Step 5

Chop the walnuts slightly with a knife and place them in a bowl.
- 6
Step 6

Dice the cucumbers. For a more tender salad texture, I recommend peeling the cucumbers.
- 7
Step 7

Dress the salad with sour cream.
- 8
Step 8

Mix the salad and serve in a beautiful bowl.
