    1. Peel and slice the potatoes and onions.

    2. In a saucepan, melt the butter and add the onion. Sauté over medium heat until translucent. The onion should not burn or even turn golden!

    4. Pour in the broth, add salt to taste. Cook over medium heat until the potatoes are tender, about 20 minutes.
