Description

A hearty first course. If you don't have pickled cucumbers at home, don't worry—soljanka soup can also be made with sauerkraut. The soup turns out pleasantly tangy, rich, and very tasty. In addition to the sauerkraut, use barley, and a classic set of vegetables: potatoes, onion, and carrots. Use chicken or any other meat broth as a base. The soup is ready to serve.
