Description

The soup is simple and quick to prepare. Solianka (rassolnik) is a traditional dish of Russian cuisine that has not lost its popularity to this day. When made with oats, this soup turns out very tender, delicious, and nutritious. You can use pickled cucumbers instead of sour ones. I don't add brine to the soup, but that's a matter of taste. If you have ready-made broth, this soup takes only 30–35 minutes to prepare, which is very convenient when you need to quickly serve lunch to your family. Serve with fresh herbs and sour cream.

    Prepare the ingredients for making solyanka.

    Pour the broth into a saucepan and add the sliced potatoes. Start cooking the soup.

    Slice the carrots and onions and place them in a frying pan. Add refined sunflower oil. Simmer the vegetables in the pan over low heat for 7–8 minutes.

    Then add onion and carrot to the pot. Salt the soup to taste.
