
Soup with pickles like from kindergarten
Description
A hearty first course. We'll prepare soup similar to what's served in kindergarten, with rice and chicken fillet, and be sure to add pickled cucumbers and a bit of tomato. This delicious soup can be served on its own; if desired, add a spoonful of sour cream and a few slices of bread. An excellent option for everyday meals. Be sure to save this recipe.

Prepare the ingredients.

Place the chicken fillet in a saucepan, cover with clean water, and cook for 30 minutes to make broth. Skim off the foam that forms after boiling.

After half an hour, peel and slice the potatoes into strips, add them to the broth. Add the rice as well and cook for 15 minutes.

Peel the onion and chop it into small cubes.

Grate the peeled carrots on a grater.

Cut the pickled cucumbers into strips.

In a skillet, heat the vegetable oil, add the onion, carrots, and cucumbers. Fry for a few minutes.

Pour in the tomato sauce and simmer the sauce for 10 minutes.

Remove the chicken fillet from the broth, slice it, and return it to the pot.

Add the sauce, salt, and pepper to the soup. Simmer the solyanka for another 10–15 minutes over low heat. Then serve the soup.
