Beer soup

Description
The soup is simple and quick to prepare. Cut the bread into small pieces and soak in beer for 5 hours. Then bring to a boil, add the zest, and simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes. Stir in the sugar and continue cooking for a while longer, until the sugar dissolves. Serve the finished dish topped with whipped cream. Ladle into bowls and serve.
