Instructions
- 1
Step 1

To prepare the salad, gather the ingredients. Instead of canned salmon, you can use boiled fish.
- 2
Step 2

First, cook the rice, previously rinsing the grains under running water. Pour 150 ml of boiling water over the rice and bring to a boil. Add salt. Cover the pan with a lid, reduce the heat to the lowest setting, and simmer for 15 minutes until cooked. Fluff the cooked rice with a fork and let it cool.
- 3
Step 3

Boil the eggs. Separate the whites from the yolks and grate them separately on a fine grater. Grate the cheese on a grater.
- 4
Step 4

Dice half an onion finely and pour boiling water over it. Leave for a few seconds, then squeeze the onion to remove excess moisture. Remove bones from the canned fish and mash the fillet with a fork. For added juiciness, mix in a little of the fish broth from the can.

Step 5

Prepare a mold for shaping the layered salad in the form of an Easter kulich, and place it on a serving dish. In this case, a serving ring is used. The height of the ring is increased using a plastic bottle cut along the edges.
- 6
Step 6

First, place half of the boiled rice as the first layer. Spread a small amount of mayonnaise over each layer.
- 7
Step 7

To keep the salad holding its shape, it's important to firmly press down the layers.
- 8
Step 8

Place a layer of canned salmon on the rice, using half of the total amount, then add a layer of chopped onion. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on top.
- 9
Step 9

Place half of the grated egg whites on the layer of onions, then a thin layer of mayonnaise, and a layer of grated cheese.
- 10
Step 10

Repeat the layering with the remaining ingredients.
- 11
Step 11

Shape the top cheese layer into a dome to imitate a kulich's hat.
- 12
Step 12

Place the salad mold in the refrigerator to let the salad layers soak. Before serving, remove the mold and the serving ring. Decorate the sides of the salad with finely chopped egg yolk.
- 13
Step 13

Spread the top of the salad with sour cream, imitating icing on an Easter kulich. You can decorate the "icing" with small pieces of colorful vegetables.
- 14
Step 14

May the bright holiday bring peace and tranquility to everyone!
