1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Wash the tomatoes and peppers, peel the onion and garlic. All of these need to be roasted. For convenience, I slice the tomatoes and peppers, sprinkle them with spices, and place them on a baking sheet lined with foil. Then I put the chopped onion and garlic cloves into small pouches made of the same foil and place them on top of the tomatoes. Roast the onion for half an hour, and the garlic, peppers, and tomatoes for about an hour.

2. Now add all the ingredients to the blender, add the spices, and blend until smooth. Then pour in the broth and coconut milk, and bring to a boil over low heat.
