Sour rye soup with mustard and sour cream on kvass
Description
The recipe won't take much time. It's best if the kvass is homemade and chilled. Instead of boiled sausage, you can use sausages or boiled lean meat. It's better to boil the potatoes the day before, so they won't stick together when sliced. If the cucumbers have a tough skin, peel it off, and be sure to check whether they're bitter. You can add any fresh herbs to the soup, and the more herbs you use, the tastier it will be. Pour into bowls and serve.
