Hunter's salad
Description
A simple dish to prepare. Vegetable hunter's salad is a real lifesaver for every homemaker. It's easy to make and can be stored for a long time in canned form. Today I'm sharing the recipe. Serve chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Shred the cabbage into thin strips.
- 2
Step 2

Slice the cucumbers, zucchini, peppers, and half of the carrots into rounds and cubes.
- 3
Step 3

Grate the remaining carrots on a coarse grater.
- 4
Step 4

Wash the tomatoes and remove their stems. If the tomatoes are small, there's no need to cut them; if they are large, slice them into large wedges.
- 5
Step 5

Pour vinegar into a saucepan, add salt, sugar, vegetable oil, and bring to a boil. The marinade is ready!
- 6
Step 6

Place the vegetables in a deep saucepan, pour the marinade over them, and set them to simmer. Cook the vegetables over low heat for 20–25 minutes.
- 7
Step 7

Then place the vegetables into sterilized jars and pour the juice over them. Cover with lids and seal. Wrap in a warm blanket and let stand for 24 hours.
