Step 2

Cut the onion and mushrooms into cubes and fry in vegetable oil until cooked. At the end, season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 3

Cut the chicken fillet (I used chicken breast) into cubes or shred into fibers.
- 4
Step 4

Add the mushrooms fried with onions to the chicken breast.

Step 5

Peel the eggs and cut them into cubes. Set aside two egg whites and one yolk for garnish. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

Step 6

Season the salad with salt, add mayonnaise, and mix well.
- 7
Step 7

Place the salad on a flat plate and shape it like a mitten with a snake's head peeking out of it.
- 8
Step 8

Decorate the surface of the mitten with pomegranate seeds. Grate the remaining egg white on a fine grater and sprinkle it over the mitten's trim.

Step 9

Decorate the snake using finely grated egg yolk and finely chopped herbs. You can outline the snake's body with sliced olives and use them to create the eye and nose. I made the tongue from a piece of pomegranate peel. The New Year's salad "Mitten" for the Year of the Snake is ready.
