New Year's salad
Description
This method can be used to decorate any salad. I suggest preparing a "Pyatachok" salad made with Chinese cabbage, cucumber, eggs, and chicken fillet. By the way, you can replace the chicken in this recipe with any meat product—boiled meat, pork loin, or ham will all work well. In any version, the salad turns out light, delicious, and will undoubtedly be a hit not only at festive tables but also during regular family meals. Give it a try!
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients. Boil the eggs beforehand until hard-boiled and let them cool.
- 2
Step 2

Rub the chicken fillet with salt and spices, sprinkle with lemon juice, and let it marinate for 20-30 minutes.
- 3
Step 3

Then fry on both sides over medium heat, covered, until a golden crust forms.
- 4
Step 4

Now you can proceed to preparing the salad. Remove the outer leaves from the cabbage and slice it thinly. If the cabbage is large, it's better to use half.
- 5
Step 5

Add the diced cucumber.
- 6
Step 6

Diced peeled boiled eggs.
- 7
Step 7

Ground fried chicken fillet.
- 8
Step 8

Thinly sliced onion in half-rings.
- 9
Step 9

Add any fresh herbs, mayonnaise, and mustard. I didn't add salt, as the meat provided enough for me; if necessary, you can season the salad lightly.
- 10
Step 10

Mix everything well.
- 11
Step 11

Transfer the salad to a serving dish, cut a snout and ears out of boiled sausage, and arrange the dish in the shape of a little pig. Olives or suitable frozen berries can be used as eyes. The "Piglet" salad is ready.
