New Year's salad
Description
Minimum effort — excellent result. A delicate and light salad with a fresh, unique flavor. Kiwis add a pleasant tang, cheese brings piquancy, while vegetables and chicken breast perfectly complement the dish. Those trying it for the first time will be pleasantly surprised. Though the ingredients may seem mismatched at first glance, the result is not only visually appealing but also incredibly delicious. For many busy home cooks, this recipe is a real find! The salad is easy and quick to prepare, looks impressive, and is perfectly suitable for serving to guests. Can be served immediately.
Instructions

Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients from the list. Boil the potatoes, carrots, and eggs in advance and let them cool. Cook the chicken breast with salt, bay leaf, pepper, and other spices—optional. Let it cool in the broth to keep it juicy. You can substitute the braided cheese with any hard cheese, but smoked cheese adds a special touch and a pleasant piquancy.

Step 2

Grate the potatoes, carrots, and eggs onto separate plates. Finely chop the chicken breast or shred it into fibers. Then unravel the braided cheese and cut it into small cubes. Divide each ingredient into 2 equal parts. Place a glass on a flat plate—this will serve as a mold around which we'll arrange the ingredients. Lightly salt each layer and spread with mayonnaise. For convenience, I will additionally use a cooking ring, though this is optional. Start with the chicken breast as the first layer.

Step 3

Place the potato on the chicken breast.
- 4
Step 4

Next comes a layer of carrots.
- 5
Step 5

Place the grated eggs on the carrots.
- 6
Step 6

On top, spread the cheese. I don't spread mayonnaise over this layer, and of course, I don't add salt, as the cheese itself is quite salty.
- 7
Step 7

Then place the chicken breast.
- 8
Step 8

Cover the chicken breast again with cheese and repeat the layers in the following order: eggs, carrots, and potatoes. Then cover the salad with plastic wrap and refrigerate for a couple of hours, or you can leave it overnight.

Step 9

The New Year's salad "Jade Bracelet" is ready!

Step 10

Before serving, remove the glass from the salad and arrange sliced kiwi on top. They will add a pleasant tanginess and an elegant touch. The salad can also be decorated with any fresh herbs; I used pea shoots. Beautiful and delicious — a worthy addition to a festive table!
