New Year's salad
Description
The recipe won't take much time. 1. Wash the potatoes and place them in a pot to boil until cooked. 2. Hard boil the eggs. 3. The chicken fillet can be boiled, but you can also pan-fry it. 4. Wash the mushrooms (in this recipe for the New Year's salad "Hedgehog," use button mushrooms), dry them, and slice into pieces. 5. Heat vegetable oil and add thinly sliced onions. 6. Sauté until translucent, then add the mushrooms. Season with salt to taste, and add a pinch of pepper if desired. 7. Dice the pickled cucumbers. 8. Peel the boiled potatoes and grate them on a medium grater. 9. Prepare a serving plate (you can line the bottom with lettuce leaves) and place the grated potato on it, shaping it like a teardrop. Sprinkle with chopped herbs. 10. Lightly salt and spread with mayonnaise. 11. Next, add the diced pickled cucumbers. 12. Peel the eggs and separate the whites from the yolks. Grate the yolks and spread them on top. 13. Add the sautéed mushrooms, then a little more mayonnaise. 14. Next, add the chicken fillet, cut into very small cubes. Add a bit of salt and spices, then another layer of mayonnaise. 15. Grate the egg whites and place them on top, pressing them firmly along the sides. Generously coat with mayonnaise. 16. Now comes the creative part: use olives to decorate the "Hedgehog" New Year's salad at home, forming spines, a nose, and eyes. If desired, you can add a little mushroom decoration as well. Serve and enjoy.
