Mimosa with cheese
Description
A simple dish to prepare. I especially like "Mimosa" salad with canned tuna. However, you can use any canned fish for cooking. It will look beautiful decorated with tomato and herbs arranged like a mimosa flower. Serve chilled.
Instructions

Step 1
Boil the potatoes and carrots for about 30 minutes in salted water until cooked. A knife should easily pierce the vegetables. Let them cool down.

Step 2
Place the eggs in cold water, add a spoon of salt, and boil them hard. Then transfer them to very cold water.
- 3
Step 3
Mix mayonnaise and olive oil until smooth. Transfer to a plastic bag and cut off a corner. Grate the cheese finely.
- 4
Step 4
Finely chop the onion into small cubes. Pour over boiling water and let stand for 5 minutes, adding a teaspoon of vinegar. Then drain the liquid.
- 5
Step 5
Place the peeled and coarsely grated potatoes and cover with mayonnaise. This will be the first layer.
- 6
Step 6
Peel the carrots and grate them finely. This is the next layer of the mimosa salad. Spread mayonnaise over it, then add a layer of pickled onions.
- 7
Step 7
Place the canned fish in the salad bowl as the third layer and season well with pepper. Make a mayonnaise lattice pattern on top.
- 8
Step 8
Separate the egg whites from the yolks and grate the salad on the fourth layer using a fine grater. Spread mayonnaise in a crisscross pattern.

Step 9
Then comes the grated cheese, a drizzle of mayonnaise, and finally, the yolks grated finely.
