
Onion soup according to Alexander Dumas' recipe
Description
A colorful and very aromatic onion soup can be prepared in just 10 minutes! Don't believe it? Try it yourself! Serve this dish best with sour cream or thick yogurt. The key is to use sweet varieties of onions, not bitter ones. You can also substitute regular onions with leeks. Pour into bowls and serve.

Prepare the listed ingredients.

Peel the onion, rinse it in water, and chop it into small cubes. Melt the butter in a saucepan or non-stick pot.

Place the onion slices in a container and sauté until golden brown for about 3-4 minutes.

Meanwhile, cut the white bread into cubes and dry them in a pan until golden brown.

Once the onion turns golden, add the breadcrumbs to the container, reserving a little for garnish.
