Onion soup (classic French)
Description
Hearty and aromatic soup. Read my short guide to preparing classic French onion soup. I recommend mentally traveling to France and experiencing the taste of traditional cuisine. I really love this delicate onion and cheese soup with a subtle hint of spices and dry white wine. Try serving it with herbs and sour cream.

When the cheese has melted well, slightly browned, and turned golden, remove the soup from the oven and serve.
