
Chicken Lagman
Description
A hearty first course. Delicious and incredibly filling chicken lagman with vegetables and noodles is very easy to prepare, and is something of a cross between a soup and a main dish. Chicken, potatoes, and noodles in a wonderful sauce—what could be tastier for a substantial lunch? Tender chicken meat makes this dish diet-friendly. And if you don't overdo the spices, this lagman is suitable for children too. Serve with fresh herbs and sour cream.

To prepare lagman, take all the ingredients from the list.

Peel the carrots and onions, wash them, and cut into random pieces. Place them into a cauldron or a heavy-bottomed pot.

Pour in refined sunflower oil and fry the vegetables for 7–8 minutes until the onion becomes translucent, stirring occasionally.

Remove seeds from the bell pepper, wash and slice. Add to the cauldron with carrots and onions.

Peel the potatoes, wash and slice them, but not too finely. Add to the pot. Pour in 300-350 ml of water and simmer the vegetables until almost cooked.

Wash the chicken fillet, cut into pieces, and fry in a pan with oil.

Place the chicken into the pot with the vegetables, add chopped tomatoes and garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste. You can add any spices.

Cook the lagman for another 5-6 minutes and turn off the heat.

Cook the noodles in salted water according to the instructions on the package. Then drain the water.

Lagman with chicken is ready. To serve, place the noodles and chicken with vegetables in sauce into a deep plate.
