Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients. I already have ready-made chicken broth; if you don't, boil any chicken parts in salted water until cooked, then strain.

Step 2

In a deep bowl, combine the grated cheese, softened butter, egg, and flour. Add salt to taste.

Step 3

Knead a soft and slightly sticky dough. Shape it into a ball, wrap it in a plastic bag, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Step 4

Pour the chicken broth into a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- 5
Step 5

Drop the diced potatoes into the boiling broth. Cook for 10-15 minutes.

In a skillet, sauté diced onion and grated carrot until soft. Add spices during cooking to enhance their aroma. Transfer the skillet contents to a saucepan.
- 7
Step 7

Take the cheese dough out of the refrigerator and shape it into small, evenly sized balls. When the potatoes are almost done, add the cheese balls to the broth and cook for 10 minutes.

A few minutes before cooking is complete, add chopped fresh herbs and diced garlic.

Chicken soup with cheese balls and potatoes is ready. Let it steep for a while and serve.
