Chicken soup with potatoes
Description
Perfect for lunch. I invite you to try this classic chicken and potato soup recipe, which you can then customize with your favorite ingredients to create your very own special version of chicken soup with potatoes! Shall we begin? 1. Place water (about 2–2.5 liters) over medium heat and cook the chicken in it until almost done. 2. Skim off the foam, add bay leaf, salt, and pepper to taste. 3. Wash and peel the onion and carrot, finely chop them or blend in a food processor. Sauté in a frying pan. 4. Wash and peel the potatoes, then add them to the broth together with the sautéed vegetables. 5. Cook until the potatoes are tender. Taste the soup and add more salt or seasonings if needed. Done! I also like adding a bit of rice at the end, as I prefer thicker soups. But even as a light broth, homemade chicken soup with potatoes always turns out fragrant and delicious! Sprinkle with fresh herbs and enjoy. The soup is ready to serve.
