Description

Perfect for everyday meals. The Royal Salad can be prepared in many different ways. You are free to vary the vegetables, replacing one type with another. In general, choose vegetables only from what you personally like and consider beneficial for yourself. Because everyone is different—there's no single recipe. The idea is to have the vegetables lying side by side, without mixing. Garnish as desired and serve.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

We start preparing the vegetables. Wash everything thoroughly. Peel the potatoes, beets, carrots, radish, onion, and garlic. Grate the carrots on a grater, or cut into thin strips.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Do the same with the beet and radish. I don't like to spend too much time, so I simply grated the carrot, beet, and radish. It turned out like thin strips.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

It won't work with cabbage. You'll have to make an effort and chop it finely with a knife. Shred it as finely as possible. Also finely chop the onion. Mix it with the cabbage, add salt, and knead until the cabbage reduces in volume.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Step 4

I had a piece of beef. I washed it, trimmed it, removed the sinews, and cut it into thin strips. For these steps, don't forget to sharpen your knife well! I fry the beef in a pan with some oil until cooked through. I season it with salt and pepper right in the pan.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Step 5

I've already peeled the potatoes, but while I was cutting the rest, I put them in water so they wouldn't darken or dry out. I grate the potatoes on a coarse grater, trying to get the same straw-like shreds. I fry them in another skillet.

  6. 6

    Step 6

    Step 6

So, we're all set. Now we can start making the sauce. For this, I press the garlic and lightly sauté it in a pan with olive oil. After half a minute, I add mayonnaise, mix well, and remove from heat. Then I transfer the sauce to a separate small bowl.

  7. 7

    Step 7

    Step 7

Now for the final step: arranging the salad. Take a large serving platter and place each shredded vegetable in separate mounds next to one another, without mixing. Position the fried potatoes and beef between the vegetables. Serve the sauce separately on the side. Sprinkle the salad with pomegranate seeds. Delicious, isn't it?
