Strawberry salad with almonds
Description
Perfect for everyday meals. Thanks to the slightly sweet dressing, the dish turns out incredibly aromatic and juicy—you'll definitely want to make it again and again. During summer, you can prepare this salad almost daily, as long as you have fresh strawberries and spinach on hand. If desired, you can pour boiling water over the spinach to make it softer. Along with almonds, you may also add some sesame or chia seeds. Garnish as desired and serve.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Cut off the stems from a bunch of spinach, separate into leaves, and rinse each one thoroughly, then dry with paper towels. Place the fresh greens on a plate. If you don't like raw spinach, you can pour boiling water over the greens by placing them in a colander, then shake off excess moisture and place on a plate.
- 3
Step 3

Remove the stems from the strawberries, rinse each one in water, and cut in half if they are small, or slice into slices if the berries are large. Place on the washed spinach.
- 4
Step 4

In a small jar or container with a tightly sealed lid, add the honey and pour in the granulated sugar. If the strawberries are sweet, you can omit the sugar from the ingredient list.
- 5
Step 5

Pour in the vinegar and tightly close the lid. Shake the jar or container to dissolve the honey in the vinegar and create an aromatic dressing.
- 6
Step 6

Using a teaspoon, drizzle the strawberry and spinach slices with the prepared dressing.
- 7
Step 7

Sprinkle the salad with almonds, and optionally with chia seeds or sesame seeds.
- 8
Step 8

Serve the dish immediately after preparation, while it still retains the maximum amount of vitamins and nutrients.
