Strawberry salad with pretzels

Description
Minimum effort — excellent result. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C). Mix pretzels, 4 1/2 tablespoons sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Set aside to cool completely. In a small bowl, beat sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Add whipped cream. Spread evenly over the cooled crust. Chill until set, about 30 minutes. In a bowl, mix gelatin powder and boiling water together. Add frozen strawberries and stir until thawed. Pour over the cream cheese layer. Refrigerate until completely chilled, at least 1 hour. Can be served immediately.
