
Chinese wood ear mushrooms mu'er
Description
Minimum effort — excellent result. If you'd like a more filling version of this dish, you can add meat. To do so, slice the meat into thin strips, sauté for 2 minutes, then add to the salad. The dish of Chinese wood ear mushrooms (mu'er) with meat will turn out very satisfying and delicious. Without meat, it will be a fasting-friendly dish—perfect for consumption during Lent. Can be served immediately.

1. There is an instruction on the package of mushrooms on how to soak them. Soak the mushrooms in hot water for about 20 minutes, covering them with a paper towel. After that, remove any inedible parts. If the mushrooms seem too large, cut them in half. Rinse the mushrooms after soaking.

2. Peel the onion and slice it into half-rings. Heat oil in a deep skillet and sauté the onion together with mushrooms for 5-7 minutes.

3. Drain the water from the corn and add the corn to the skillet. Add about a glass of water and simmer until the corn is tender. The liquid should completely evaporate. Finely chop the garlic. When the liquid has evaporated, add the soy sauce and minced garlic. As soon as it comes to a boil, remove from heat. The salad is ready. Delicious, unusual, and very healthy salad.
