Potato soup with pasta
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Even such a popular soup can be prepared in various ways. You can make soup with water or broth, with a vegetable mix or sausages, with sautéed vegetables or without, with tomato paste or mushrooms—there are so many options! I suggest making soup with chicken broth, without sautéed vegetables, with pasta and potatoes. This light soup can even be served to children. Give it a try! #betterathome The soup is ready to serve.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Pour water or any meat broth into a saucepan. Add salt, spices, bay leaf, and one whole peeled onion. Bring to a boil.
- 3
Step 3

After boiling, add the diced potatoes. Cook until done.
- 4
Step 4

Then remove the onion, as we won't need it anymore, also take out the bay leaf, and add the pasta. Immediately stir to prevent the pasta from sticking to the bottom, and cook until half-done.
- 5
Step 5

The pasta will soften on the outside but remain slightly firm inside—add the chopped fresh herbs at this stage. Turn off the heat, cover the soup, and let it steep for 10–15 minutes.

Step 6

Pour the ready potato soup into bowls and serve.
