Potato salad
Description
Perfect for an everyday meal. I really love potato salad for its simplicity, inexpensive ingredients, and satisfying quality. This isn't a gourmet salad—it's a typical German dish: simple, rustic, yet very caloric and filling. Of course, eating it daily isn't advisable, but it's fine to treat yourself from time to time. Like many other German dishes, potato salad goes perfectly with beer :) I hope you'll find my potato salad recipe useful. Garnish optionally and serve.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

If the potatoes are young, you don't even need to peel them. Just rinse, cut into cubes, and boil in salted water until cooked. Let the boiled potatoes cool down.
- 2
Step 2

The salad dressing is made as follows - simply mix mayonnaise, sour cream, and apple cider vinegar.
- 3
Step 3

Add finely chopped onion, dill, salt, and pepper to the resulting dressing.
- 4
Step 4

Pour the cooled dressing (preferably the potatoes should be slightly warm, but not hot or cold, when we dress them) over the potatoes and mix thoroughly.
- 5
Step 5

We put the potato salad in the refrigerator for a couple of hours, after which the salad can be served. ;)
