Cabbage with tomatoes
Description
Cabbage with tomatoes, in my opinion, is the perfect combination. Tomatoes add exactly the right tanginess that cabbage is otherwise missing. On its own, cabbage is rather bland and tasteless. Try this simple recipe for cabbage with tomatoes, and you'll be amazed by the delicious result.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Finely shred the cabbage. Sprinkle with salt and, if the cabbage is young, simply mix. If preparing the salad in autumn, slightly squeeze the cabbage to make it softer.

Step 2

We wash the tomatoes and cut them into pieces. The size of the pieces depends only on your preferences :)

Step 3

We wash the herbs and chop them finely. I lightly press the chopped herbs with a knife—they release their juice, become softer, and more aromatic.

Step 4

Peel the onion, wash it, and slice thinly. To slightly reduce the onion's sharpness, I sprinkle it with lemon juice or vinegar.

Step 5

Gather all the salad ingredients, sprinkle with black pepper, add mayonnaise, mix well, and serve :)
