Fried broccoli with beans and bacon
Description
A simple dish to prepare. A delicious dish for lovers of broccoli and legumes. It will also come in handy for those who observe fasting, but in that case, bacon should be omitted. The cooking process is very easy and quick—I spent more time adding the recipe than actually cooking. Serve chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

1. That's all our ingredients, not many, is there? :)
- 2
Step 2

2. Separate the broccoli into florets and pour boiling water over them, or you can boil them slightly if you prefer soft broccoli.
- 3
Step 3

3. Cut the bacon into pieces, peel the onion and garlic. Slice the onion into quarter-rings, and finely chop the garlic.
- 4
Step 4

4. On a well-heated skillet with a spoonful of vegetable oil, fry the bacon to your desired doneness. I prefer mine well-cooked and crispy. Remove the fried pieces from the skillet.
- 5
Step 5

5. In return, place the onion and garlic in the pan and sauté them to your preferred consistency. The onion can be slightly soft, translucent, or golden.
- 6
Step 6

6. Drain the broccoli in a colander and let all the liquid drip off. Then pour lemon juice over the broccoli.
- 7
Step 7

7. Add the broccoli to the pan and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- 8
Step 8

8. Add the beans without the liquid, mix and heat for another minute to a minute and a half.
- 9
Step 9

9. Place on a plate and add crispy bacon. Delicious!
