
Crispy cabbage soup with croutons
Description
The soup is easy and quick to prepare. Thick yet light, it's a great option for a weekday menu. It's not only delicious but also beneficial for the body. This soup can be made with white cabbage, cauliflower, kohlrabi, or broccoli. Ladle into bowls and serve.

Shred the white cabbage.

In a small cauldron, melt the butter, add the bacon cut into cubes, sugar, and cumin seeds. Add the prepared cabbage and simmer together until the cabbage becomes translucent.

Pour in the broth, add wine, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Bring the soup to a boil, add the potato grated on a coarse grater. Cover with a lid and simmer the soup for 20-25 minutes over low heat.

Cut the bread slices into 1x1 cm cubes and lightly fry them in a pan with 1 tsp of butter.
