
Cold borscht with sausage

Colorful and vibrant cold borscht is delicious served with boiled sausage—the type of sausage can be chosen according to your taste. If you enjoy this dish, instead of sausage you can add boiled meat, boiled poultry, or smoked meats. Many people happily add even hard or soft cheese to the soup. The soup is ready to serve.

Prepare the listed ingredients. Boil the chicken eggs, carrots, and potatoes in advance, then cool. Roast the beetroot and also let it cool.

Peel the boiled carrots and potatoes, rinse them, and cut into small cubes into a deep container. Similarly, cut the cooked sausage of any kind into cubes.

Rinse the fresh cucumber in water, cut off the ends, and dice it into cubes. Peel the boiled chicken eggs, rinse them, and dice into cubes of the same size. Place into a container.

Peel the baked beet, cut into cubes. Rinse the green onion stalks and chop finely. Add together with the beet cubes and sour cream of any fat content to a container. Add salt.
