
Korean-style beef brisket

Prepare the spice mix for later use: pour a glass of vegetable oil into a frying pan and place over heat. Peel and crush a clove of garlic, sauté in the oil for 30 seconds. Immediately add 1 tablespoon of black pepper and 1 tablespoon of red pepper, along with 2 tablespoons of ground paprika and 2 tablespoons of ground coriander. Stir well, then immediately remove from heat. Transfer to a jar.

We wash the meat, trim off all sinews and fat. Remove moisture with a paper towel. Cut into thin slices across the grain.

Place the pieces into a bowl, add sugar, soy sauce, and vinegar. Mix well. Cover with a lid and let marinate for 2-3 hours.

When the meat has marinated, squeeze out all the juice and return it to the bowl. Heat the oil until smoking, fry the sesame seeds in it for a few seconds, then pour the boiling oil over the meat. Add the previously prepared Korean seasoning, as well as ginger. Mix thoroughly once again. Let it sit for at least half an hour. Serve with boiled rice.
