Korean-style beef he
Description
What we call Korean-style hoe is not exactly traditional Korean hoe. Their version is still much spicier and hotter. Besides, they don't even have the concept of "Korean carrot." But then again, does it really matter, since the most important thing is that it's delicious! To prepare Korean-style beef hoe, you'll need high-quality beef tenderloin, vinegar essence (which we'll use to disinfect the meat), soy sauce, and sesame oil.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Cut the beef into thin strips, and to make this easier, keep it in the freezer for about half an hour.
- 2
Step 2

Sprinkle the sliced beef with sugar and salt (one teaspoon each).
- 3
Step 3

Then pour in the vinegar essence and stir for about 3 minutes.
- 4
Step 4

Close the container and let the meat marinate for about 4 hours.
- 5
Step 5

Then drain the resulting liquid, squeeze the beef, and add coriander, red chili pepper, black pepper, and minced garlic.
- 6
Step 6

Heat one third of the vegetable oil in a frying pan. Fry the onion in it until it releases its aroma into the oil.
- 7
Step 7

Remove the fried onion from the oil.
- 8
Step 8

Pour the boiling oil over the meat, stir for about a minute, then add the soy sauce and sesame oil, cover the container with a lid, and place the meat in the refrigerator for an hour.
- 9
Step 9

Meanwhile, prepare the cucumber. Cut it into thin strips, salt it, and tilt the plate to let excess moisture drain off.
- 10
Step 10

Then season the cucumbers with red pepper, fried sesame seeds, 0.5 tsp soy sauce, and 0.5 tsp sesame oil.
- 11
Step 11

You can take as much Korean carrot as your heart desires.
- 12
Step 12

Mix all ingredients, add spices to taste, as well as chopped herbs. Korean-style beef hoe is ready.
