Wash the beef and place it in a pot with water. After boiling, add salt and simmer over low heat for a couple of hours until tender.

Strain the ready broth, remove the meat and let it cool slightly. Return the pot to the heat and bring to a boil again.

Add the washed rice and cook for about 6-7 minutes over medium heat.

Melt butter in a skillet and sauté the chopped onion until translucent.

Add the tomatoes and tkemali, mix well, and transfer everything to a saucepan.

Has the meat cooled down a bit? Cut it into portion pieces and return to the pot. Add salt and some of the spices.
