
Georgian salad with liver

The salad is quick and easy to prepare. Fast and delicious, in Georgian style! This Georgian salad features tender liver, juicy tomatoes, and the sweet tang of ripe pomegranate. And of course, nuts, a traditional addition to most Georgian dishes. This combination delivers a bright, distinctive flavor. The salad is ready to serve.

Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients. As for the herbs, if you like cilantro, I recommend adding more of it; I mixed it with parsley (since I'm not a fan of cilantro).

Rinse the chicken liver and dry it, then remove the membranes and blood vessels.

Add flour and a little salt, mix well.

In a skillet, heat vegetable oil, add the liver with flour, and fry until cooked.

Slice the tomatoes into thin wedges, finely chop the herbs, nuts, and garlic. Cut the red onion into thin strips. Place all the prepared ingredients into a salad bowl.

Add the cooked liver, season with salt and black pepper to taste. Drizzle with olive oil. Gently mix.
