Greek salad with tomatoes

Description

Perfect for everyday dining. It's unclear what Greeks put in their most famous salad before tomatoes were brought from America. Today, it's hard to imagine Greek cuisine without this bright, juicy, and sweet vegetable—and even harder to imagine the recipe for Greek salad without it. It's the tomatoes (and, of course, feta cheese) that give this dish its unique and distinctive appearance, flavor, and character. Therefore, choose only the ripest, sweetest, and juiciest tomatoes for your Greek salad. Garnish as desired and serve.
