
Pea soup with tomatoes

Prepare all the ingredients.

Rinse the peas, cover with water, place over heat, and bring to a boil.

Meanwhile, chop the onion into cubes and grate the carrot on a grater.

After the water comes to a boil, drain the broth, refill the peas with fresh cold water, and add carrots and onions. Cook until the peas are tender, about 60–90 minutes.

While the peas are boiling, cut the potatoes and tomatoes into small cubes.

Chop the garlic finely with a knife.
