German-style pea soup
Description
A hearty first course. This tasty, filling, and aromatic soup is a wonderful addition to your everyday menu. The special feature of preparing this soup is that it is made exclusively with bacon. Traditionally, the dish should turn out fairly thick and is best served with fried croutons. I recommend adjusting the amount of liquid to your taste. Serve the soup hot.
